Two words; Ya Hoo
« on: February 21, 2007, 08:13:28 PM »
Got close to 60 degrees, took my lttle baby tiger out (400) and have to say that things kicks butt.  I even felt like a badass for a while.  Nothing like a good leather jacket and a screaming pocket rocket with pods.

Just wanted to get that off my chest.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Aaaargh, my driveway is 1/4 mile of mud right now. Even the car sinks down into it. I need a week of good sunshine before any bike without knobbies makes it down to the road.

Here in Nashville it was Sunshine and 71. Light breeze. I went for a 4 hour ride and got a bottle of Scotch AND a bottle of Brandy to celebrate :-*

Yawn, I feel sleepy ;)

YA HOOOOOO!  Is right!  Can't wait for riding weather again.  Here in the Chicago area, last night was the first time in months that it didn't get below freezing over night.  That's a good sign that there's hope.  Last Saturday while out clearing the driveway of all that white s[yte, I saw 2 robins.  Either the weather's getting warmer, or those birds are retarded.  It's usually mid March before those birds show up to signal spring is around the corner.  Still, the roads are too sloppy from the melting snow and salt to consider riding.  :(

In the same boat as lake is. It was nice last couple of days but it did not get all the ice off the roads. Probably march at the earlies before I can fire the beast up. :'(

When I hear snowmobiles I don't even think of riding my bikes.
Car got totaled last week, so I might have to think seriously about starting the bikes.

Now I'm envious Ernie. It was near 60 yesterday but the road salt
and marbles left over from the ice storm last week will keep my bike
in the garage a bit longer  :(

Hey Dave, catching anything there are ya?

You bet RM - upper lake trout. This is my brother with a beauty :)  But I'd rather be trying to keep up with you and Uncle in the Blue Ridge Mountains..

Hey nice catch man! :) Everytime I went ice fishing I just got cold and no fish.
But your brothers catch almost temps me to try ice fishing again. Almost I said :)

I think I'll wait till it's Canadian Beer season then I'll look you up for some lake fishing. :)
(Don't tell me, Canadian Beer season is year round eh?) ;D ;D
