This is all good stuff. If you look at my Avatar that is actually my bike. I think I like the mirrors I have because that don't distort from vibration. There is one strange thing they do. When I hit 5K RPM the right one buzzes loudly, I originally thought it was something loose on the motor. The buzz goes away at 6K, so that is now has become my shift indicator. But, if you look at how they sit, they are a bit lower and stick out past my shoulders, so I can see very well. The case is actually plastic and is cracked from a tip over. This all may sound odd, but riding a 29 year old bike is also a bit odd.
