welcome caluser2000
that is a good looking 550
I like the color scheme all the way to the points cover.
is there alot of good winding roads in New Zealand?
Thanks.
LOTS of them wolf50. I avoid main highways as much as possible. About 30/70% highway/country road riding, Including a bit of gravel when I'm in the right mood.
A couple of weeks ago I test rode a Royal Enfeild Interceptor 650 twin. Man are they a smooth well handing ride. Similar weight, diamentions and power output as the CB500/550s.
I had a chance to rent an the same Royal Enfield and I totally agree. I was very surprised at how zippy and light it was. It'll probably be my first new motorbike purchase.
Great price, economical at 65-70mp(imp)gallon and up to 360km, if not more, tank range.
Me being me I'll most likely got one a few years old and with 20,000kms or more up. First owners if they like them will at bits on them like engine bars, pack racks or even panniers
I've been through the new bike thing a few times so know it's true lol.
If anyone wants a pdf copy of the maintenance/workshop manual sing out.
