I pulled up some of the old carpet and found this. What were they thinking?

Everyone wanted their bike to look "different" than the other ones in town. Now that all our friends don't have one too we feel differently.

At some point in time all old bikes had little or no value.  When I was a kid I watched 38 Indian Chiefs get cut in half and hauled to a scrap yard.  When I worked at the local Honda shop in the 70s we hauled tons of bikes, parts and accessories to the land fill.

When I see a 70's bike with a custom paint job, chrome everywhere, accessories bolted all, over I see a bike that somebody loved enough to spend his hard earned money for those things.
I was one of those guys. Now I don't love the modifications, I prefer the way it was.
