 I saw this on cb750 Facebook, very cool.

  This is an eye opener. I've seen a foamy float bowl on a Jr. Dragster motor with a Lectron plastic fuel bowl. It was amazing, the Lectron came with a foam fuel stabilizer around the main jet needle. I could see why. 
  I'd love to see more circuits at work. You can also see reversion in a few shots that they don't mention.

This may come across as cynical.  Even though i'm a smarter every day fan.  Maybe someone else thought the same as me.

Actual rocket scientist agrees not to run gasoline through transparent replica carburetor.  Proceeds to team build a non functional (but incredibly high tech) educational model.

Rather than simply using water.

like ive always said,dont get to fussed about float levels settings,its a washing machine inside the bowl,hard braking,lean angle bumps etc,fuel level is splashed all over on a dirt bike?

It's kinda sad that a "mechanical engineer"  A) doesn't know how a carb works, but more importantly, B) uses terms like "turny thing" and "floppy-do".  I had to stop watching it there.

But then I went back and skipped ahead, because I liked the idea of actually seeing the carb in action. Because I skipped ahead, I may have missed it, but I'm surprised it worked at all, given I didn't see a vent for the fuel bowl. Fuel ain't coming in if the displaced air doesn't have an escape route.

Not bad.
