‘97 Valkyrie Bumblebee Tourer (that Honda never made)
« on: July 01, 2021, 09:49:03 PM »
What’s that you say? Honda never made what? The yellow and black color combo, affectionately known as the bumblebee, was only offered with the standard package. Never the Tourer.  I very quickly decided that the LeatherLyke bags that the PO had on the bike were garbage.

Got lucky enough to find an entire take off rear end from a fellow who had triked his teal and black 99. The windshield and quite a few other farkles I’ve added along the way. One of my most prized possessions on this thing are the Viking pipes.  One of the more highly regarded pipes made for the Valk, very hard to find now, particularly in excellent shape. (These are!) Large tube, equal length, ceramic coated headers with 36 inch glass packs. The sound cannot be put into words.

I have been from glacier national Park, down the PCH, all over Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, A trip to Nova Scotia, and central Florida. It has been the most satisfying road companion I’ve ever owned.
