I went down to a local memorial for the 1100 silence this morning and I will attend the local Cenotaph on Sunday followed by taking part in the M60 "Ring of Red" ride.

Great Uncle Jimmy Harvey didn’t make it home from France in 1917.
His name is chiseled in the stone at the Vimy Canadian Memorial.

My dad at an airfield cut out of the jungle in New Guinea.  He was lucky and made it home, as did his four brothers.  RIP Dad.
