Topic: Repaint with VMR products

I have having my 74 550 repainted in the original Flake Sunrise Orange color by a local body shop that does a lot of motorcycles. I contacted the people at VMR and was told that 16oz of base and 16oz of mid coat will be enough to paint all three pieces.  The body shop will provide the primer, clear coat and paint the black areas of the tank.   Just wondering if anyone has used VMR products to know if 16oz of the base and mid coat is actually enough paint.

16oz=1/2 quart
16oz of base is enough, may be enough for two bikes
16oz tinted clear is enough

Thank you for confirming what others have said.  Paint ordered and hope to have the tank and side covers ready by mid January.
