K2 dashboard

Just wondering how many other K2 dashboards say "Flash" rather than "Turn" This is my K2 750

Not necessarily by year. I have seen  1972 K2 750's with "Turn" rather than "Flash"

My guess, 72 was flash, 73-76 was turn, owners changed parts through years.

I think it's country specific. All UK model SOHC /4's have 'turn', incuding the 750 K2 which was a 1972-1975 model here in UK. (we never had the K3, K4, or K5, we went straight from the K2 to the K6 in 1976)

What I believe to be true: Early U.S. K2 bikes had the “flash” style panel. I don't know if later K2 bikes had it. K2 also had the beeper cancel button on the signal switch.

 I have one that says flash but don't know what number frame it came on. K2 for sure.

You mean like this? My K2 is frame number CB750020448588. IT has "Flash" rather than "Turn". Just wondering how many others there are like it. Is it an early K2? I was able to utilize the original wire harness. The beeper stop button works well. Seems like a silly feature.

Yep! The K2 also had a decal for the tank stripe; previous years were painted on.Gauges are K2 one year only. Seat is different too. Engine and frame numbers are way off too.

I have a K2 also and its kind of tricky to hold the flash button and at the same time use the clutch. Can be done but its a handful. Don't forget that on the later K3 + switches if you put the turn signal switch at the half way point when engaging it the turn signals will flash but the buzzer does not sound off. All the way over and both activate.  Try it sometime  ;)
  My 79 Suzuki GS1000 has a neat kind of complicated self cancelling turn signal system that automatically turns them off after a lean angle and you reach a certain speed. Kind of spoils you and I wonder if they were one of the first with that feature. ??
