The US id book does not aknowledge the interim model but the UK one does, although it states only 36 were imported toUK, it is a crossover from the CB750 to the K1 with early sidepanels and airbox but the linked carbs of the K1

honda could be all over the place with its model variants, production years, model years, part changes, usa models, uk models......and limited records.....

A 1970 CB750 could be a very valuable bike, no matter the condition. Get pics of the frame AND engine numbers.

If they are not "matching", value goes way down.

And FYI - the numbers will not be identical, it most likely came from the factory a couple hundred numbers off.  It could have a later model motor, we can look up the year from the number.
Or, it could be blank if the motor was replaced by a dealer, fairly common.

 Usually, the find is gone by the time someone asks here and then asks for more pics.  The last 70 I bought, I went right away on a Sunday, short on money, gave a deposit, got a receipt and beat the next guy by a few minutes.

Yep -  if its advertised on the web and not way overpriced for what it is it will disappear quickly. Lots of hunters for the early stuff. Hopefully your lead is a hidden away word of mouth.

A 1970 K0 is a special motorcycle. It deserves a correct restoration. Expensive to restore. Buy a 1973 to 1976...Then you make it a.Frankenstein and not be concerned about correctness.
