Im one for using the factory brass as much as you can,so long as it aint been gouged poked hard or drilled or corroded heavily,the stock brass is truely precision compared to the aftermarket stuff,that being said if your one mm plus or minus on the float height it really wont matter,its like a washing machine inside the fuel bowls once your riding,imagine long hard sweepers left or right,the fuel is all up one side of the bowl,rough ground and hard braking its all over the place,dirt bikes handle the worst of it with motors pulling strong,dont over think the float level.
