this is the second one of these ive dealt with,this one is a mates whos brother bought it new in 2008 and used to commute on it,not used for 8 years,he gave it to him,cleaned the carb of course and runs fine,new fork seals and quick wet sand and repaint the forks,replaced the rear master and bled the front,all good to go we rode it up n down my street for 15 minutes,hes just gonna sell it.

I used to work at a vintage scooter shop out of high school, We sold a few new scooters too. We had 2 of these that never sold. People always said “Mad Ass” was not something they wanted any part of.

I’m guessing it translates to the language of origin to something more appealing but yeah… basically gave em away when they sold the shop haha

Looks plenty good: if I found one of them,I might consider scratching that name off and leaving the SACHS name on there  Lol    Wouldn't want to get anyone Pissed Off, Lol 

I jokingly imagine someone gets it, runs it around as a commuter and parking it at a train station;the poor guy gets back,looking for it.then calls the Police to report it was stolen.I wonder what he would give as a description with that name on it.
The fellow might get a bit Mad just having the police ask him to repeat the name of it a bunch of times,Lol.

theyre a Honda copy 4 stroke sean,manual 4 speed and pretty lame,have kick and electric start cheap bike to putt putt around town etc.

I think the design of it's just great,but whoever gave it that model/name must have done it as a marketing 'joke'. 

I hate when the original company(and Good Name)gets sold and they build stuff that doesn't match the quality of the original.

That bike looks like a lot of fun Dave, but I first thought screaming Sachs 125 2 stroke and I was a little bit disappointed to see the putt-putt Honda clone engine. Of course the Honda engine could be turned into a screamer, but the 2stroke wouldn’t be a good fit for the BadAss frame.

Same here. My buddy Joe had a 125 Sachs motocross with the leading link front fork in '68-'69 when moto-X first came to our local race track, after heavy rains had turned the TT course in the infield of the clay stock car track into a mud pit. The gooey clay built up so thick on the tires of the TT bikes that it jammed up into the fenders and locked up the wheels, while the moto bikes had the fenders mounted up much higher. BTW, the so-called bum-stop style "cafe" seats were called TT seats back then.

A true/authentic German SACHS machine has always been a high quality motorcycle.
The quality of that clone 125 listed here seems ok to me,from what I can see.. the model/name leaves aLot to be desired..  lol

or chainsaw,this one is a demon and my go to saw,1999 build,it really has a lot of torque and runs a 15" bar through anything.

A few years ago, was looking to buy my daughter a moped.  I came across a Sachs G3, thought it was pretty cool looking..



But didnt get it, ended up buying her a Puch instead.

If my memory serves me correctly they came as a 49cc and a 125cc.

In CA a 49cc bike don’t require a motorcycle license so lots of city dwellers use em.

I remember riding one once, maybe is cracked 30 haha

There used be one of these in my neighborhood in Evanston. It is a cool looking little scoot.

i tell you what though they feel very UNergonomic to ride!even my mate said man its a weirdo thing to even sit on,pretty gutless aswell,and hes got a trx850 and he rides a tenere,and has had a lotta bikes like any of us,good cheap n cheerful fun i guess for just a commuter or similar?i wouldnt venture far from home on one just from a safety standpoint too small?

ill add that it sold a few weeks ago,its gone down south a few hundred kays away,mate tells me the buyer has a car workshop and its hes commuter,the buyer always wanted one in the day?he said hes a big guy aswell who might flatten it!

All I can picture is some person went 'nuclear',really Lost It,yelling and screaming at everyone everywhere;then they hop on that little bike and ride off !
