I had a pad stuck on a frozen piston. Some wise person on this site suggested that I attach a grease gun to the threaded opening. worked like a charm! just be sure to clean up all grease after you're done. there's an seller on ebay who has replacement pistons if yours is too pitted or corroded to be used after its been unstuck.

The pads shouldn't need too much encouragement to come out.  Grab it with a large vice grip and haul it out  ;D

If the caliper is in rough shape, and you think you might need a new piston, you might be better off shopping for a better one.  I recently bought a rebuilt, refinished caliper and mounting arm on eBay for $30.  A new brake seal and a used piston will cost the better part of that.

Loosen the 2 bolts 1/2 inch pump your brake and watch it come out,  yes it is that easy.
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

I just rebuilt the caliper on my K5 and rather than fight with the piston I used compressed air.  I took the caliper off the bike with the feed pipe disconnected but the bleeder screw still in and closed.  I applied the compressed air to the port that the feed pipe goes to and after several shots of air (at 40psi) the piston popped out of the caliper.  Make sure you have a thick rag below the caliper to catch the piston and dirty mung that comes with it.   ;D
