Decal day, Britman, hope you didn't hear me curse a couple of times......

They are on, not perfect from side to side, but look good to me.

Our temperatures have cooled quite a bit, but Monday looks like a high of 70, so will try to shoot more clears coats.

These decals came from: https://cbdecals.afegraphics.com/index.php?adminshopping=&cat_id=292&catname=%271977%201978%20cb750k%20P7%20Police%20Special%27

Wow…. So impressed.

AFE Graphics makes decals for just about everybody. If you check his website, you won’t see any Honda stuff listed, but in the “Gallary” there is a lot of Hondas! Interesting that Honda don’t make or sell these, but hassle those that do. Best of all, Mark O. (AFE Graphics) is literally just up the road from me. I can drop in anytime! He and his family live in a very large bungalow and the entire finished basement is packed with his production equipment. He’s a VERY busy guy. At it full time and never catches up to the demand.

Yes, the graphics are very nice, I didn't do them justice by my installation practices, but they will look ok once I clear coat.

Finished buffing out the side covers today as well, and applied the badges.

Just curious if anyone has used the Spraymax 2K clear and had it to last several days after the inner tube was ruptured and mixed?

I started using them last Saturday, today is Thursday and I can still shake them and hear the ball inside moving, about 3 days longer than I thought they would last.

I do have a new can for the last couple of coats for the tank, but was just wondering.

When I painted the 550 they only lasted about 3 days and the ball quit moving while shaking.

Nope, they set up on me... Might test it in a tool or something you don't mind clear coated just to test it. But if it sprays globs you would need to use acetone or similar before it setup... Would be a mess.

I would not risk the tank with graphics for the old mixed 2k clear.
Spray something else.

I warmed up the Spray Max 2k clear cans before I pushed the bottom plug and mix  to make it thinner and better flow. It was rather thick. I guess it can be even thicker after many hours.

Just FYI, I tried the week old Spraymax 2k clear this morning on the tank emblems, appeared to spray just fine.
Note: The cans have been sitting in my garage, temps probably around 55-60 degrees F.

I do have a new can for the tank, that's tomorrow if the weather doesn't change.  Have my spray tent set up in the garage.
