Hello all,
Thanks for all the information. To answer some of yours...
1. I am looking to sell this bike. It is unfortunate. I have grown attached to the bike after putting the blood sweat and tears on it. Plus, this was my first bike. I learned to ride on this bike. So needless to say, it has sentimental value. But I was presented with a deal that was just too hard ot pass up.
2. What was involded with the rebuild: well, mainly it was tearing down the from end and rear, polishing the forks and all the chrome pieces, repainting the triple tree and basicall all the other parts except for the frame, rebuilding the carbs, finding original side covers, finding stock air box, oil separator, painting and lining the gas tank, and a major tune up (syncing the carbs, adjusting the points, new rotor and stator, etc.)
3. The bike is very turn key. It fires right up.
4. The original exhaust is in good shape. There is some surface rust, but nothing that some steel wool couls not handle. Also, it could use a polishing job. But other than that, very good shape.
Again, thanks for all the information.
