Seat mount
« on: August 10, 2023, 01:54:35 PM »
I have a 77K7 , Someone cut the seat bracket off the frame trying to make a cafe. I have the original seat now to put back on.
Does anybody have a pic so I can make or put the original seat back on , thanks.

^What do you a pic of, with the seat open showing the frame mounts?

I have a K8, should be the same.

I have a 750k7 frame that has had the centerstand bracket removed.  This frame has no title and is now only good for parts.  Would you like me to cut off your missing parts and send them to you?  If yes, feel free to pm me

I might be interested , I may need the lock side I guess, and the left side foot peg V shape thing .
I think some one had one on here before ? I am in Atlanta GA. How much you think ?

shipping is the killer, can you post some pics of exactly what you need?  Or pm me your cell phone number or email so we can send some pics back and forth.  I would send you the whole dang frame for $30, but that's gonna cost a lot more to ship.  I am thinking $25 for me to cut out the sections you need and then the smaller the better for shipping cost.  Are you only missing the hinge pin tabs and lock tabs?

A little off the topic, but... I notice in your photo there is a stamped number on the frame crosspiece just aft of the battery box. My 1977 K7 750 also has the number stamped on the frame.
Does any one know the significance of that number? There is a lot of discussion on minutae about these bikes. Some one must surely know.
