Anyone know if this will fit

I have a 78 750k and am looking at getting a new tank. Found this one and am wondering if It will fit on my fram

That looks correct, but I don’t see the tang for the rear rubber strap?

I’d need to purchase the tab. I’m not sure what frame It was originally on. Owner was going to put It on a 78 cb750f

That looks like it is a 77-78 K tank and it has the tab on it(welded as it is supposed to be) the tab is covered when upright, all you would see is the rubber tab to pull on to release the tank.

Thanks! I was pretty sure It was for a 78k but wanted to be sure as the owner was not positive and it’s online. Meeting them in person so not worried about scam!

If he has it, make sure you get the latch for the filler lid (if he has it). Not easy to come by.

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

weird   you must have the only 3 in the world that won't open with a screwdriver
