Sourcing 500/550/4 Bearings
« on: June 23, 2024, 09:32:52 PM »
Has anyone got a supplier for Needle role bearing 23931323004 on transmission input shaft LHS? Or is there a modification out there to use a bearing from a current supplier?
Thanks

Maybe check here:

The Honda bearing part numbers changed in 2002-ish for all the SOHC4 bikes, so some of those old numbers don't show up anymore. Now they use a standard bearing classification numbering system across all the bikes instead.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Got a lead on a NOS one but their stock list could be out of date so I've asked them to confirm. I'll let you know.

Thanks Fella's for the response. I rechecked CM's site again but showing no stock. I have couple of doner motors I may have to rob, reluctantly. Do you know anyone building race bike power plants that may be using something modified but proven?

Steve
PS, I'm 12 hours different time zone so my responses are delayed.

Have you checked eBay?  Right now, there's a new one in an open bag for about $43 shipped and taxed.

Just curious, how many needles does it take? It has 8 windows with 2 needles each?

I see one with needles missing, but this one looks complete.
