1978 honda cb 550k four choke fast idle  screw setting?
« on: July 04, 2024, 05:11:47 AM »
Happy 4th of July!
Does anyone know how to set what I think is called the fast idle screw. I have attached a photo.
My choke button kinda of falls down slowly after you pull it.
It is a 1978 Honda CB 550k
Thanks!

When you pull the choke knob up there is a rubber covered nut and if you turn it clockwise it adds friction to the cable and stops it closing
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
