Dash Lights
«
on:

Got the old girl running. Seems to have lots of power and runs Pretty good.
One issue is when I shift to Low the neutral light stays on and the Low light does not come on. ( bulb is good) When is shift to Drive the neutral light goes out and the Drive light come on as it should.
Where do I start looking.
Not sure gas gauge works accurately but that's about my biggest problems so far.
More concerned about the dash lights.

Not an A expert but the neutral switch might be stuck from sitting.
Check out the wiring diagram. I suspect the low light won't come on unless it sees the neutral switch off.

I agree that the neutral switch might be stuck from sitting. How hard is it to access the switch. Shop manual doesn't really go into detail.

I don't know if the A has a neutral switch in the same location as the other bikes. (under the engine)
There is also a "Change Switch" PN 35752-393-003 located near the shifter.
I assume this is for the hi/lo indicator.
I would examine the wiring diagram and the parts list for clues.

For me access the
Neutral switch
I think I have to remove side cover on left side. Also have to drain oil I'm guessing. Too bad, just changed it. Please tell me If I do this if I'll find that neutral switch??

Don't know.
Do you have the shop manual?
http://manuals.sohc4.net/cb750a/
Looks like the neutral light goes through the "changing relay" where ever that is located.
