750F lesters question
« on: September 24, 2024, 06:08:19 PM »
I had a question from someone about if the 750F lesters would fit on his 72 750K?
would he need to change the K swingarm with the F?
what about the hub?
or just no and only the rear lester with the drum will work.

thanks guys

if you're changing to disc you'll need somewhere to attach the master cylinder and reservoir too
i blame Terry

And the mount for the caliper stay arm on the swingarm.

ah. I see. after making the rearset for the 550 to solve this for them it seems like a good choice would be to get the drum set instead.

Aside from the mc mounting and stay, I think the wheel will fit perfectly.  Just the other day, while working on a 750f rear caliper, I needed to move the bike around with the caliper still `disassembled on the bench.  On a hunch, I grabbed a spare K bike brake side rear axle spacer and chucked it in there.  It is the exact thickness of the caliper bracket.
If it works good, it looks good...
