I am a bit slow sometimes. I never thought to look in HondaMan's book. So I took out my copy and went to the oil pump section and checked it as described.
The outer rotors on both sides of the oil pump between the rotor and the body measures 0.005". The tips of the inner rotor and the outer rotor on both sides of the pump measure 0.002".
So it is in good shape. Just need a rebuild kit and put it all back together. Will leave the pump off and prime it till I have all the top end ready to go and I am good to put the bike back in service.
