1975 CB550k Carb Base shaft bushing

I removed the shaft to clean and the bronze bushing is broken. I measured it at .375 id x .500 od x .525 length. If anyone has a resource for the bronze bushing I would greatly appreciate it.

You will have to have one specialy made, you did not fully remove the locking pin
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Normally I just tap/drive them thru to the opposite side with a punch and small hammer (small, so the shaft doesn't get bent!).

While I don't have brass that size on hand, I do have a small lathe to make one with if it comes to that.

You need bronze, not steel bushings so they don't rust and freeze to the shaft.
