I am going to install a set of Kerker headers with 2" competion baffle and am using the stock air box with a K&N filter on my 78 750 SS I have a set of 125 jets that I am going to try. My question is on the needle setting 1. Could I use a needle from a 77 Supersport that is adjustable instead of using washers? 2. Is there any way to get the needles out without separating the carbs? 3. Would there be a problem if I left the needles at there stock position I hate to pull the carbs apart again if I don't have to. Any info on this would sure help spring is comming.
