tire size?
« on: April 13, 2007, 07:11:06 pm »
my 750 has cheapo tires on them and they dont display tire size on the sidewall like i was hoping. a guy i used to work with set me up with a pair of brand new kenda challengers for $75. the sizes are 110/90-19 and 100/90-18.  i havent tried to peel them on my rims as i'm waiting for a new rear wheel from e-bay. before i set my self to the task, does anyone out there know if i've got the right size skins? i have plain old stock rims on my scoot.

The 100/90/18 is probably too small.  Depending what 750 you have, most early 70s 750s that take  18 use either a 4.00 or 4.25 which converts to a 110/90/18.  You don't want to go smaller than stock as it might get pushed off the rim by the inner tube.
Go metric, every inch of the way!
