cb750 cam drive Q?
« on: July 21, 2025, 02:18:51 PM »
I posted on this engine a long time ago, now priced at $250 on marketplace it has the trans plated off and the rocker cover has some sort of a drive on the end of a cam. I'd guess maybe for a fuel or oil pump? Anyway, it appears to be ported but the lower case has an ugly weld spot.
I sent my last message to ask if I can see it, no previous questions were answered. I'm thinking if it isn't blown up or rusted beyond repair it could be worth a hundred or two. I'd assume it has a big cam of some sort if it was raced.

I finally got a reply, they crated it for shipping and the buyer backed out. I asked to see it, promised no funny business. If the front lower case wasn't gnarly in the poor pic, I'd just tell them I'd take it. About a 50 minute drive.
