Condensers vs capacitors

Given the dubious quality of new paper and foil condensers, has anyone used polypropylene capacitors instead? Maybe Hondaman could chime in...

The condensers are just capacitors, so as long as they are sized correctly, they should function fine. Vibrations may be an issue depending on their form factor and how they are installed.

From reading prior posts I picked up that some caps will not deal well with the heat present in the  OEM condenser location. Not a big deal to relocate them to a cooler part of the circuit.
