Condolences Don, I just read about it in your other post in the PO'd thread.
Busy times with so many feelings to go through.

We unchopperized a nice 750 K2 together. It had belonged to an old mechanic friend in the area. We put shorter fork tubes in it than the +6" and removed the ridiculous pullback handlebars. We added 750A rims, new tires and a nice Hooker 4-2 header. It has a reproduction seat and shorty shocks so he could get his feet down.
I knew he shouldn't be riding it, and he did too but the process of me trusting his judgement was good for our relationship. I bought it back a couple weeks ago and overpaid. L0L.

Don, your posts make me miss my old riding buddies, too.

Only just seen / caught up on this Don. Sorry for your loss. I’ve not had to deal with the loss of many close friends so far. I know it’s coming, and when it does it’ll be brutal.

Great that you can remember the great times you had together and memories made.

You’re the kind of friend I’d want in my life.
