What are your comments and Woud you buy this????
« on: April 26, 2007, 03:00:45 PM »
After doing my usual looking for CB400F parts, I found this today.

Would you guys spend that much for a customized CB400F? Let me rephrase, you would spend that much for that CB400?

It's an interesting look. I would want to know what exactly has been done (butchered???). I'm always a bit leery of mix'n'match wheel types.

Yeah I know what you mean.

I once had a KZ550 with a clunking noise from the bottom end. I first thought it was lowerend bearing problem, but I found out
it was the oil filter spring. The original owner forgot to put it back :D

Too bad it wasn't closer to Ohio. I'd go and look at.

It has a RZ350 front end on. That thing has to have killer stopping power.

Chop Suey is an American invention.  I MIGHT pay $900 for a bowl, but not until I taste it.
Know what I mean Jellybean?  Who knows what's in there and how it works.  The guy might be an engineering student and he put this together as part of his doctoral thesis.

Hold everything! AN RZ350 front end huh? Just so happens that I have an RZ350 "Roller" (no motor, no electrics, body work and no seat. Frame, forks, rear suspension, brakes, gas tank and wheels are mainly what I've got). I've considered an attempt at dropping a different motor in it or adapting the complete front and rear suspension w/ wheels onto something else myself. Like to know some more on that one too.

It's that ass banging plank right above the exhaust.

I'd have to ride it with a donut cushion.

No way, sorry.
It just does not look "together",
sorta like a KTM with Yamaha stickers,
just just
nope, not for me.

With matching wheels and a smaller silencer that could be a nice looking bike. I'd move away from the black colour scheme too, red bodywork & silver wheels would finish it off nicely. As for price.. depends a lot on the rest of the bike's info... does it run and ride AOK?
