Kennedy. Especially when they had the 'news flash' (one of the first on English TV) to tell us that he had been shot. I was 8. My dad was in a state of shock, walking around the house saying "But, but, but, he's the President of the United States....."

Sorry Bob, you're a little older than me. Harry Truman was President when I was born. First one I remember though was Dwight D. Eisenhower. I was in the 10th grade when John Kennedy was killed and I'll never forget that day. I was in my Mechanical Drawing class when we were told. I just couldn't believe it. Then, right there on TV, we saw Jack Ruby shoot and kill Lee Harvey Oswald. Couldn't believe that one either. Bob, looks like, if I was a couple of years older, we'd be in the same group. ;)

I think the first Prime Minister of England, that I remember hearing of, was McMillan (hope I remembered and spelled that right). I was in the 7th grade.

                                                          Later on, Bill :) ;)

Pretty sure it was Carter. I was hatched in 79 and I believe it was "I'm not a crook".

Eisenhower. I remember when he was elected and he was a great President and post war was a very difficult time.

However our generation, almost to a one, have problems with showers (Psycho) and we all remember where we were and what we were doing the day that JFK was assassinated. I was home sick from High School with a terrible cold.

We are Kennedy's (not the ones with the money and the great hair) and my 12 yr old brother, John, was in elementary school that day when the principal announced over the intercom that they had just been notified that John Kennedy had been shot dead. Children and  teachers, all over the school were in tears, some crying uncontrollably. Finally, the teacher from his class went down to the office to find out what was going on - John Kennedy was in class and in perfect health!! Very quickly the announcement was clarified.
Time is short!

The correct term for the office Bill is 'Prime Minister of the United Kingdon of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' ;)

Edward Heath was in office when I was born, I don't have a clue who was President (Dec 1970)

The first PM and president I remember are Callaghan and Carter

I remember his face but his name I can't remember.  He used to stop in to see my Mom.  Liked cigars if i remember right.

This is just a PC version of the "How old are you thread"
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.
