hello i was just wandering whats the best handle bars to put on my cb 550f i am turning it into a cafe style or would clipons be better and where can i buy them cheers damien

Some people like clubmans, but I've got a set of clipons from ebay. They're just generic 35mm clipons.

run a search for "clubman" or "clip-ons."  You'll have more than enough info to make a decision.

I had clubmans, just switched to clip-ons.  more adjustability.

another vote for clip ons.

 I'm short, with a 3/4 inch thick board for a seat I still can't put my heels flat on the ground,(more a problem with bike width not height) and the clubmans are a pretty long reach
 look good, but too much of a stretch for real comfort.

Funnily enough Webby I got my Tomaselli Clubmans from ebay for a pittance, just because they were fitted upside down on the guy selling them's bike, he'd assumed they were chopper bars ::) and advertised them as such :D

Short guy, short arms, I'd have to sit on the gas tank to reach them. Besides with the cafe bars and seat I can rest my gut on the tank
