I just purchased the newest dual band Amature radio from Yaesu it is the FTM10 R. BTW my callsign is N1ZBH, it is the best radio ever to come out for Motorcycle riders! In addition to being a 2M 440 dual band radio it also has broadcast am and fm Stereo built in intercom built in group frequency using FRS. IT is made for wireless bluetooth head sets. It has input for MP3 or Ipods WIRES capable Internet ready I can't think of a thing missing. Check it out!

I got one because it's the best way still to get a signal out of the mountains.

My bike makes too much noise too.  Ignition noise to be specific.  That was with my FT50R, I haven't tried my new FT60.  I will have to look up that FTM10, it sounds way cool.
