The rims look like ones off my XS650's. Easy to keep looking nice.

That kinda looks like a Sears Allstate, but at times it looks like a Puch........ But I don't know which model.

It probably is a Honda :(

great pics Bill.
For all those above not sure what it is, a 125 CB92 Honda.
I'm with Uncle  Ernie just what is that aluminium shield about.
It looks a lot like mine from 1967 only I had it stove enameled a non standard metallic red colour, but I did get hold of the same Honda race kit seat and exhausts.

Guys, I should have been more specific in what I said about finding this one. I meant I found it on line. :-[ I only wish that I had one of those jewels! 8)  Sorry I didn't make that clear. :-\

         LL,
You are looking at a genuine Honda CB92 (125cc), one of the hottest bikes of it's time. In fact, the very first Honda I ever saw was one of the little beauties! ;)

If I ever got the chance, and could afford it, I'd pick up on one of them in a heartbeat though.

Uncle, I have no idea what that cover is for, on the cylinder. I'm sure SamCR750 could enlighten us on that.

Once again, sorry I got you all excited about thinking that that one was mine. :-\ The closest I have to one of those is my 63' CB77 305 Super Hawk that I'm trying to get parts to redo. Of course my 77' CB550K Cafe build is suffering a setback because of the CB77 because you really have to do a lot of searching and bargaining to find parts at a decent price. You all have a good Memorial Day weekend (or, if you don't recognize that holiday, hope you have some good riding time)!

Thanks malcomb, for your input too.

                                                             Later on, Bill :) ;)

Thanks for this one Billy, I hope this bike is a new build and the guy hasn't run it yet or he's in for big problems.

The shield around the back of the cylinders will cause the motor to overheat.

The idea of the shield came about when Honda took 4 of these bikes to the I.O.M. TT in 1959.

They found under sustained high speed running, not enough cool air was getting to the back of the left hand cylinder.

This was due to the cam chain tunnel being on the outside left of the cylinders.

To combat this, they fitted what you see in the picture but only around the left hand side.

This allowed cooling air to get round to the problem area but then allowed it to escape where the shield ended near the single carb along with the hot air that the cooling air had mixed with.

This guy has built his sheild to collect cool air from both sides but it has very little room to escape.

I have raced these motors for close on 45 years without any mechanical failiure and without any cooling air scoops.

If it's possible to contact this guy Billy, you might want to pass this on.

Sam. ;)

Well, I was getting ready to post this, when Sam jumped in there. :) So, I'm poting this anyway. Thanks for the info there Sam, I figured that you had some insight on that one.

This is what most of them look like.

BTW Sam, I'll see if I can contact him on that shield thing. ;)

                                                          Later on, Bill :) ;)

Sam.

To be honest, I'm not sure where he is. I found it last night when I punched in "CB77 Super Hawk Road Racer" and, when I tried it a dew minutes ago, I couldn't seem to bring it up. I'll keep on trying. I thought I was in the VJMC site but, when I tried that, I wasn't able to get anything. I'll let you know as soon as (if) I find anything.

         Thanks for that Outlaw. ;)
