Their is a guy over at dotheton.com who made a CB450 look very similar to the bike above.
Very slick...

I've really liked those pipes ever since I first saw them and they ain't cheap! ::)  I could do something close but can't really swing the actual tracker body parts, so I'll have to improvise. ;D ;) I think I'll go with drum brakes on the front and rear, instead of disc. Man, if only there were more than one of me and plenty of $$$$, I could do some heavy project building. :D

That's true but, I'm not too good at welding though. When I do it, it's more like "Welting" (combination of welding and just plain old melting of metal). ;D ::) Wish I'd of gotten my Dad to teach me how to weld properly years ago. Those pipes on that bike are great looking but, I can't even imagine what they cost. I do intend to someday build one though. I'll probably be hitting you up for some info and advice on that one (more than usual), when the time comes. ;)

That's actually just about what Ted wants to do with the CB750k he got this spring....high pipes and all. I guess we kind of like the street tracker look, this is an '82 Ascot FT500 that I made into a street-tracker...a more appropriate look for a bike named "Ascot", IMHO:

A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

                 Hey Charlie,

That is, no doubt, one "Sharp Looking Ascot" you've posted there! 8) Definitely a cool looking bike!

Sure am glad you and Dave (upperlake04) don't live nearby. >:( Between you 2 and my wife, I wouldn't have anything left! :-\ ;D ::)  Maybe I'd better electrify the fence around my back yard. ;D Actually, I am in the process of redoing my storage area in hopes that the wife will feel comfortable in the back yard. At the present time, she doesn't go out in the back yard cause she says it's too junky! ::)
Ah but, time goes on, eh? ??? ;)

Look at it this way bill....between i and dave im sure we could get one of those bikes of yours to become the tracker its ment to be....Eh...can someone say Mach III tracker??? Been toying with more ideas in reguards to that...Im thinking im going to hunt for a Mach III frame and reenforce it along with grafting the VF suspension to it instead of reworking the VF engine cradle to the fit the Mach III engine. Besides there was talk of a full out race VF being built from the 84.....hehehehe....
