Durham DA disbarred!

In case any of y'all are interested, the DA who screwed up the Duke Lacrosse rape case can't practice law in NC anymore!  ;D

It was on the news this morning that the boys attorneys will seek criminal charges against Nifong.
Civil actions to follow also I'm quite sure.

He will face several civil law suits from the formerly accused players.  There is also a question about criminal charges against him because he lied in court.

My wife was an attorney, a DA and is now a judge.  She said that she saw this coming months ago with the DA trying to fabricate evidence and the "story".  Total loser.  His punishment should be a good beating with lacrosse sticks.

We all await breathlessly Jesse Jackson's official apology.  Any minute now, I'm sure.

 That's pretty normal behavior, a good case can build someone's career, in this instance it all came out on the right side of the balance.
 can you imagine what would have happened if one of the boy had actually had consentual sex with the girl?


  If we did hear an apology from jackson I'd have to stop riding, I rode under a flock of gulls once, and was pretty much buried in gull crap, I sure don't want to ride under a flock of pigs.

Thank you for that summery...went searching out details and got some of that but wasnt exactly sure of the full picture.

He abused his power to further his political aspirations, and now he is disgraced and disbarred. Sometimes the bad guy actually loses.
