USB Motorcycle engine?

You read correctly! It's a USB Motorcycle engine. Sorry it's not a SOHC4 but that engine is to heavy to put on my desk anyway.

Looks like a model of an old  '66 3/4 Nortribsa 729cc.

They had dual carbs as early as '66, nick?

not pre-unit

 I know that BSA had twin carb in '66, I had the 650 lightning which was pretty much the same as the thunderbolt, but t-bolt had single carb, lightning had twin carbs

It's a little known fact that Nortribsa was a pioneer in the use of twin carbs, dating back to their
'55 1/2 629cc Super Flash Star.

Doh!  I had it backwards...  Pre-unit means everything is separate, before they combined the transmission and the crank case into one piece, right?
