Quick spoke question...
« on: July 07, 2007, 01:42:37 PM »
I feel silly asking this, but can someone with a CB350 Twin, early style with the drums front and rear, maybe take a quick measure of how long the spokes are? I totally forgot to do this when I took apart my wheels, so now I've got a bunch of new spokes, and I'm not sure if they are front are rear. Can anybody help me out?

Backs are longer by 3-4mm. the front hub is larger than the rear so spokes are shorter there.....  Hope that helps you.....  I have a CB350 I have been building up for vintage racing, so I had wheels here and micro fiche also...  Any other help you need let me know

Are there only two sizes? I really need a concrete answer for this, I have a set of spokes I purchased, and there are three lengths, I really need to know if I should start looking again for spokes...

Not quite, As I understand it.  You need 20 A and 20 B spokes. some spokes are woven "outside in" and "inside out"
look in the FAQ, there is an amazing tutorial in there about how to relace the rims, and why you need both spokes.
