Anyone else own a Vmax?

Just picked up an 89 Vmax & cleaned up the carbs.  WOW!  You have GOT to try one of these things!!  Now...if I could just get the old CB to run like this...... ;D

Yeah, that's where I stole it from...it was even funnier that as he says it, his daughter is standing in the same room (Marty's future parent) ;D

Yeah...I LOVE the Vmax...BRUTAL accelleration (No fluff).  I'm currently CB-less...but I learned so much about the darned thing before I sold it (71 750).  I want my next CB to be a 69 or 70 (Larger sidecovers), but steal the carb-rack and tank (Left-hand petcock) off a newer bike.  I'll find one somewhere eventually.

x2, be careful on that thing...I got a cousin thats in a wheel chair now because of one...dropped his back in 84...paralyzed from the neck down ever since...  :'(

I AM careful...I NEVER over-rev it, and I change the oil every 2500 ;D  Sorry to hear about your uncle...tough break.

...didn't mean to be a kill joy...I was about 12 at the time and my mom never let me forget the shape he was in, so I had to hear about it grow'n up... ::)
