P.S. Is the word 'stuffed' just kiwi slang. I.e. that fox is stuffed, completely rooted, had it, worn out etc or do you poms and yanks use it in that context too?
Can't speak for them TC, but 'stuffed' isn't commonly used in the NZ way in western Canada, it would be whooped, screwed, shot, toasted or fcuked. Stuffed would be understood as in taxidermy though the word 'mounted' is also used which of course can cause misinterpretations. "Robert mounted the big buck- he's good at what he does". 'get stuffed' is used here, again not in the NZ context. 'Robert told me to stuff myself.'
