Topic: Nasty crash at Czech 250cc GP

This was a nasty crash in the 250cc race.

The rider, Taro Sekiguchi, suffered a broken pelvis and two fractured ribs.  He was conscious when he was taken to the hospital, and he's expected to make a full recovery and was even scheduled to leave the hospital the next day.  A nice testament to the gear.

   Man, that was nasty. 

He couldn't even see what was coming.   

Those are the scariest kinds of accidents.

Holy crap that was scary.  Glad he's going to be alright.

That could have been the coolest thing in documented history if he'd landed it and kept going.

I once did a similar crash in a bicycle race. In the pack we had a big
domino with about 20 riders going down. I t-boned my team mate.
There is still a face plant indention in the highway near Southern Pines.
But we were only running about 30mph.

That was pretty bad looking and I'm sure glad he's up and at em again!
