You don't know the meaning of "classic" hockey stadiums?!?!? Man you definitely aren't Canadian...btw it is a hockey arena not Stadium lol... We take our's so seriously that our Old Maple Leaf Gardens here in T.O. was designated a landmark and is being retrofitted into a grocery store so they could preserve the shell. Hell, they could just have left the arena in one piece and people would have paid just for the chance to walk through it for the nostalgia...
Actually one of my earliest memories took place at the Gardens. I was just a little guy and my dad had taken me to a game and I had to use the bathroom...well they didn't have individual urinals. Instead, they had a big trough that ran down the middle of the room and you just whipped it out and peed with the other 20 guys standing around it...kinda traumatic for a 5 year old or whatever I was...I think that is why I now have the 750 instead of a little 500 or whatever!
(a bit of a freudian reference for you thinkers out there...)
