Well... Condition means more than anything once you get to bikes this old.
I paid $1800 for my 1979 CB650, but it was as close to new as you will find one. It was all original and never restored and had only $9000 miles on it and new tires. It needed absolutley nothing, but a rider.
I paid $400 for my 1973 CB500 project bike, and it was running, in reasonably good condition with new tires, nice aftermarket exhaust and good chrome. It really just needs a good freshening up to be a nice vintage rider.
There are so many things that can run up the cost of these bikes, that one would really have to see the bike in person and ask some questions to make a judgment call as to what the bike is worth. There are just to many variables.
A title may not be a deal killer, if your state does not require one. Alabama does not require a title until 1975. All you need is a notarized bill of sale.
