Running of the bulls in Pamplona? I'm crazy but not to such extent...
Never been there, nor is something I would love to see. Perhaps it's just that "the grass is greener in the other side of the fence"
I have never been a follower of the bullfighting, it seems a cruel entertainment to me, regardless of how many centuries has it been present in my country. Running of the bulls -even if it is not cruel to the animals- has degenerated a lot. Has become very dangerous because of the amount of people running, most of them without the slightest clue of what to do in case they fall or how to run with the animals. Even worst, drunk people running with the bulls endanger themselves and the rest of the runners.
I have a friend -the same that I mentioned about the whisky and the glass...- who went to Pamplona a couple of years ago. The first thing i asked him is where was he going to stay, as it is very complicated to find a hotel room. He told me he didn't have any, he planned to party all night and sleep in the parks, just as many other people do.....
