My new BMW R1200S

I took delivery on my BMW this weekend. I couldn't be happier with it.

        Hey Congratulations on the BMW purchase. ;) That is a really awesome looking bike. 8) You're gonna have to keep us up with the particulars of that one! :) BTW, Who's that guy standing by it? ??? ::) ;D Take care. ;)

That bike is BAD !
If you ever change the exhaust let me know, I would love to adapt that to a older CB !  ;D

I've ridden one of those. It's an awesome ride. (I still perfer the K12R, but that's a personal thing)

Yes, way cool color scheme.  Working on the heads should should be a snap.  One thing tho . . .IMHO, those mirrors /signals take alot away from the looks.  Cover over the current fairing holes and install CRG or Oberon bar end mirrors and perhaps a set of signals like Proteal has on his Monster??

I actually test rode a K1200S right after the R bike. It's wickedly fast. Very awesome bike. Overkill for my riding style. The R bike handled a little better, and I have always liked it's unique styling.

I'll have to take a closer look at PT's setup. I agree about the mirrors, but I don't think I'm going to be rushing out to change anything just yet.

as much as i love my sohc 750 there is NOTHING like a beemer twin. dead reliable, tractor like torque and they last forever. only problem with those has been the rear drive seals and thats a warranty item so no worries there. i'm a certified tech on beemers.

Hey there fuzzy. I may have to consult you in the future on BMW matters. I'm loving the beemer so far.
