No lighter?....easy
« on: October 21, 2007, 02:03:32 AM »
I have a book of motorcycling tips from the 30s & 40s.

One beauty is - if you have no matches to light your cigarette, remove the sparking plug, turn it upside down and drain a little petrol into it.

reconnect the plug lead & kick the motor over

Anyone want to try it? I won't.

Don't have to take the plug out, just run the engine at about 4000 for a few seconds, and touch the cig to the header at the top of the pipe.
