If it was a minter 750 it would fetch that much in the UK - in fact there were one or two that went for £7-8K at Stafford last week.

He can't even spell "fairing" either.

Or "tyres" for that matter... 8)

You've got to admire the sellers optimism. And at $10k reserve is not met!

Reminds me of a XT500 that was up for sale a few weeks ago. The bidding ended at $3450, with reserve not met. He re-listed it with no reserve and ended up getting just over $3000!

I'd like to think that potential buyers of these older motorcycles are savvy about realistic values and will not get sucked into dropping over-the-odds money for bikes that, though nice, are not worth what the seller is asking.

   A possible explaination?
With his Corvette and motorcycles taking up the entire garage, the wife has no place to park the kid hauling minivan. She hates it when she has to haul groceries in the rain. So she asks him, "Why don't you put that old motorcycle you bought back in high school and never ride any more on E-bay?"
He has begrudgingly complied....... and I can relate. Her children are tucked in their beds. His are tucked in the garage.

Hmm, I can hear his explanation to her now. "Hon, I tried, but not takers. Sorry, looks like I'll have to keep it." ;)

But seriously though..........what is a reasonable price for that bike, with its non-stock exhaust?

I might pay a thousand bucks if I really wanted it, but I probably would be more inclined to spend 700 or less....

It would be a better picture if the cat was "playing the bagpipes", if you know what I mean.... ;D

Works for me ;) One of my cars has made more appearances on ebay than Elvis made in Vegas :-\

Come on, Guys, The Front Fender IS included. Worth $10k easy with that.   ;D

And that bagpipe playin' rag in the background had better come with it for that price.  8)

Honestly, with the posted pictures, it's kinda hard to tell the actual condition, but if it is in really nice shape, I could see it getting up closer to $2k.
