Local Cafe racer in Cycle World
« on: November 07, 2007, 08:38:55 AM »
Just found out that one of the local bikes that was at Bonneville will be in the mag. I dont think they do too many features on Harley singles..lol..

This is a pretty radical handbuilt single, blown , injected that ran in semi-streamlined pushrod class.

I should point out that the front end, wheels & brakes, aluminum fairing and frame were all of his own design and performed very well considering it was first time out for the bike.

Its the same link as I used for the Gafe wheels thread, or

He's the same fellow who built the single converted from a twin cam with a supercharger to look kinda like an old Norton Manx. Very creative guy. The disc brakes in drums thing is a very unusual and good looking touch, although I wonder if the enclosed disc and caliper stays cool enough.

Beautiful looking work . 8)
