How's it going? My name is Jason, I live near Dallas, work in printing, and love to build bikes and ride. My first bike was a 1981 XL185 that my dad rebuilt from a wreck, and that's how it all started. Since then I've owned 20+ bikes, mostly 1960-70s Hondas. The current project is a 1973 CB750 with a Tracy body and a Drouin supercharger on the way. I found it on Craigslist looking like this:
and one month later it looks like this:
I rode it to a show yesterday, put 150 miles on it and only lost a few bolts. Everything worked great, and it cruised on the highway at 80 mph with no problems. I've rebuilt and polished the forks and brake parts, rebuilt the front wheel and added a second rotor and caliper arm, rebuilt the carbs from scratch, fabbed up the fiberglass body mounts, taillight /license plate mounts, made a seat pan and cut up an old seat cover to fit, and added Koni shocks, velocity stacks, criss-cross pipes, oil cooler and clubman bars.
