The Thanksgiving Season
« on: November 14, 2007, 09:42:57 PM »

I'd like to take this time to say that, no matter who we are or where we are, we've ALL got something to be thankful for and I'm hoping that we'll ALL give thanks for that! I'm also hoping that families will get together and try to resolve whatever differences they have and try to strengthen the family ties, if possible. I can tell you from experience (as I know some of you also can) that family is a great thing and shouldn't be taken for granted. I hope you ALL have a very Happy Thanksgiving and KNOW that I am Very Thankful For Knowing You. ;)
                                 Later on, Bill :) ;)

BTW, Jim (Aptech77) I beat you again!

Bill, knowing the things you're going through with your family right now, that post says a lot about your character. I'd like to be the first to thank you for being a voice of reason and compassion in our little Honda club. We sometimes get out of hand and you always seem to reel us back in.  8)

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family, and everyone here!

Lee, You really have quite a way with words. Not sure if I really deserve all that but, I Do appreciate it though!

Even though all that we go through, during our lives, we Do have alot to be Thankful For.

I can tell you that I'm Very Thankful that I found this place and you all in Dec of 2005, cause I've found lots of new friends and a number of you all seem like extended family members.

I  better get out of here before I say something goofy!

Sorry bout that Nick! :-\  I keep forgetting about the different holidays and also how the timing of some of the Holidays are different! I'm not sure if I'llever get that straight or not. ::) I just feel good about being a part of this group and that feeling is because of the acceptance that comes from you all and it should be Me thanking you all.

BTW, in case some of you missed it in my thread about my Dad, I'm bringing him to our house for ThanksGiving and I can hardly wait. I'm just praying that my brother doesn't screw things up.

Thanks Matt, Dad seems to be doing well, except his energy level isn't very lasting but, he's learning his limits and trying to accept and adjust. All he'll have to do is to visit, eat and visit some more. ;) Gotta help him watch his sugar intake though, he's a diabetic. We've got that covered though. ;)

Well, so far so good! ;) I'm a bit anxious about THIS Thanksgiving because of all the circumstances that have been created.
I, for obvious reasons, will be SO glad when Thursday comes. To have my Dad here with my family and to know that he's comfortable, relaxed and enjoying himself, will be something that I will be so very thankful for! ;) If everyone of you have as great of a Thanksgiving, as I plan to, yours will be just plain FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying not to get TOO anxious about it, how am I doing? ::) ;D

(I keep thinking that I'm dreaming about things getting better with my family situation and I'll wake up but, everytime I see and/or call my Dad, he STILL sounds like things are back on track and he is feeling so good and that his main drawback seems to be the oxygen he has to have with him.)

With that being said, I want to say that I am Especially Thankful for those of you who have supported and been there for me during these times. That means a lot and you'll never know what it means to me! ;)

                         Happy Thanksgiving,  Bill & Family
