new clutch questions
« on: November 16, 2007, 04:25:38 PM »
Hello everyone!  I am new here so here we go.  I did my first clutch on my 73' cb750k.  I had my ex buy the manual and it wasnt a clymers.  It really sucks!!  How do I adjust the new clutch.  I pull in the clutch lever and nothing.  I think I reinstalled the springs wrong or something.  Is there somewhere I can get step by step instructions from..  I always do my own stuff.  I have built this bike myself.  Trying to get it done by spring.  Thank you!  I appreciate any suggestions!!

Should the clutch feel like normal when I put it together or will it when I put the oil back in and start it up??  What the hell am I doing wrong?  That stupid bolt that the cable lever attaches to (I dont know what to call it!)  Drives me nuts.  Starting it up tomarrow night!  Hope it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've found that by leaning the bike over on the left side, I don't have to drain the engine oil.  I replaced a broken clutch plate on my 400/4 in 20 minutes using this method.
If you can't see light at the end of the tunnel, go down the tunnel and light the chuffing thing yourself
